Want to buy 4D online without a trip to the outlet? BK8’s 4D & Lottery lobby covers the main Malaysian 4D games, the East Malaysian draws and Singapore 4D. Before you pick a number, it helps to know three things: how each bet type pays, what the real odds are in ringgit, and how an offshore platform differs from a licensed 4D outlet.

This guide covers all three. It doesn’t publish results, and it doesn’t sell “lucky numbers”. Every 4D number has exactly the same chance in every draw.

What 4D is, in one minute

4D is a fixed-odds numbers game. You choose any four-digit number from 0000 to 9999 and stake on it. Each draw then produces 23 winning numbers:

  • 1 first prize
  • 1 second prize
  • 1 third prize
  • 10 Special prizes
  • 10 Consolation prizes

Your payout depends on which prize your number matches and the bet type you chose. Unlike a jackpot lottery, a fixed-odds game pays the same set amount however many people pick the number. (Some operators cap total payouts on very popular numbers, so check the rules on the Payout tab.)

How to buy 4D online on BK8

The lottery section sits inside your BK8 account, alongside sports and casino. The steps below follow the menu names on BK8’s 4D & Lottery page. The bet slip itself sits behind login, so the exact labels may differ.

  1. Create an account through the BK8 registration guide or go straight to sign up.
  2. Make a deposit. The minimum for each method shows in the cashier, and reviews report about MYR 20–30. Our payment methods comparison shows deposit and withdrawal times for each option.
  3. Open 4D & Lottery, choose the Grand Dragon tile, and pick a game such as Magnum 4D, TOTO 4D, Damacai or Singapore 4D.
  4. Pick the draw date. Check it twice, because BK8’s FAQ says bets are final and can’t be cancelled.
  5. Enter your number and choose a bet type (Big, Small, iBox, Box or Roll).
  6. Enter your stake per bet type and confirm. Save the ticket reference shown on screen.

4D bet types explained

The names below are the ones Malaysian punters use at outlets. BK8’s bet slip is behind login and may label them differently.

Big and Small

These are the two straight bets. You win only if your number matches in the exact order drawn.

  • Big pays on all 23 winning numbers. The top prizes are smaller, but you have 23 ways to win.
  • Small pays only on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. You have 3 ways to win, but each pays more.

Box

Box buys every arrangement of your four digits as separate straight bets. The cost multiplies by the number of arrangements:

Your number Pattern Arrangements Cost of Box at RM1 each
1234 All digits different 24 RM24
1123 One pair 12 RM12
1122 Two pairs 6 RM6
1112 Three of a kind 4 RM4
1111 All the same 1 RM1 (Box not needed)

A Box win pays the full straight prize, because each arrangement carries the full RM1 stake.

iBox

iBox (also called mBox) is the cheaper version. You set one total stake, and it is split across all arrangements. RM1 on iBox 1234 means each of the 24 arrangements carries about RM0.042. If one hits, you get 1/24 of the straight payout. iBox widens your coverage without raising your spend, but every win is smaller.

Roll

Roll replaces one digit with every value from 0 to 9. For example, “12R4” covers 1204, 1214, 1224 and so on to 1294. That’s 10 numbers, so a RM1 Roll costs RM10.

System and permutation bets

“System” is a general term for bets that combine numbers or arrangements automatically, such as Box and iBox. Some platforms also offer 3D, 5D or 6D variants. BK8’s Grand Dragon lobby lists 5D and 6D variants such as TOTO 5D/6D, GD Lotto 6D and 9 Lotto 6D/6+1D. Check the Payout tab for how it prices them.

Example prize structure (check the BK8 lottery page)

Payouts are set by each operator, and BK8 sets its own. The table below is an example structure based on Magnum 4D’s RM1 prize structure. The Special (RM180) and Consolation (RM60) Big payouts match the 4-Digits article on Wikipedia; the 1st to 3rd amounts are the commonly quoted Magnum figures, so confirm them at magnum4d.my. BK8 publishes its own amounts on the Payout tab of its 4D lobby, which sits behind login. Check it before you bet.

Prize Winning numbers per draw Big (RM1) Small (RM1)
1st 1 RM2,500 RM3,500
2nd 1 RM1,000 RM2,000
3rd 1 RM500 RM1,000
Special 10 RM180 each Not covered
Consolation 10 RM60 each Not covered

The real odds of 4D, in ringgit

There are 10,000 possible numbers, so your chance of matching the 1st prize with one straight number is 1 in 10,000. For a Big bet, any of the 23 winning numbers pays something. That’s about 1 in 435 per draw.

Here is the expected value of a RM1 bet, using the example payouts above:

Bet How it’s calculated Expected return per RM1
Big (2,500 + 1,000 + 500 + 10 × 180 + 10 × 60) ÷ 10,000 about RM0.64
Small (3,500 + 2,000 + 1,000) ÷ 10,000 about RM0.65

In plain terms, over a very long run you’d expect about RM64–65 back for every RM100 staked. The other RM35–36 is the operator’s margin. Short runs swing wildly, which is why some people win and most lose.

Picture a regular routine of RM10 Big on three draws a week. That’s RM1,560 a year. At an expected return of about 64%, the average cost of that habit is roughly RM560 a year. Treat it as an entertainment budget, not a savings plan. That maths is the same whether you buy 4D online or at a corner outlet.

Malaysian 4D games and Singapore 4D

Three companies run 4D in Malaysia under Malaysian licences. Singapore 4D is run separately by Singapore Pools.

Game Operator Usual draw days Listed on BK8 Official results
Magnum 4D Magnum Corporation Wed, Sat, Sun + special draws Yes (Grand Dragon) magnum4d.my
Toto 4D Sports Toto Malaysia Wed, Sat, Sun + special draws Yes, as TOTO 4D (Grand Dragon) sportstoto.com.my
Da Ma Cai 1+3D Pan Malaysian Pools Wed, Sat, Sun + special draws Yes, as Damacai 1+3D (Grand Dragon) damacai.com.my
Singapore 4D Singapore Pools Wed, Sat, Sun Yes (Grand Dragon) singaporepools.com.sg

BK8’s Grand Dragon lobby also lists the East Malaysian draws (Sabah 4D, Sandakan 4D and CashSweep 4D from Sarawak) and its own Grand Dragon Lotto and 9 Lotto games. Those last two aren’t Malaysian 4D operators’ games, so their draws and rules come from the provider, not from Magnum, Toto or Da Ma Cai.

Malaysian operators add special draws, usually on some Tuesdays, to make up for public-holiday gaps. Draws normally take place in the evening. BK8’s cut-off time for each draw may be earlier than the outlet cut-off, so place bets well ahead.

Sports Toto and Magnum also run jackpot games such as Toto 6/58 and Magnum Life. Those are not fixed-odds 4D games, and this guide doesn’t cover them. BK8’s lobby shows TOTO 5D and 6D variants, but check the game list before you assume a specific jackpot game is offered.

Buying through BK8 vs an official 4D outlet

This is the most important section on the page. Magnum, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai hold Malaysian licences. When you buy at their outlets or through their own official channels, you are dealing directly with a licensed Malaysian operator.

BK8 is different. It is operated by Mettlemind Tech Ltd. under licence No. ALSI-202504032-FI2 from the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros. That is an offshore licence, not a Malaysian one. When you buy 4D online on BK8, you are placing a bet with BK8 on the outcome of the official draw. You are not buying a ticket from Magnum or Toto.

Malaysian ISPs also block many gambling sites. If a link stops working, don’t use a “mirror” link sent to you by a stranger. Our safe login guide explains how to spot fake BK8 sites.

Checking 4D results

Many players who search “beli 4D online” really want the latest results, not a betting account. If that’s you, you don’t need BK8 at all.

We don’t run a results widget, and we don’t recommend relying on screenshots shared in group chats. Check the official sources listed in the table above. They publish results shortly after each draw, along with draw dates for the coming weeks.

If your BK8 ticket shows a different outcome from the official result, contact BK8’s 24/7 live chat or its official Telegram channel with your ticket reference.

Payments and withdrawals for lottery players

Lottery uses the same wallet as the rest of BK8. BK8’s FAQ lists bank transfer (for example Maybank, CIMB or RHB), Visa and Mastercard, Touch ‘n Go, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow QR and crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT). Bank-transfer deposits are credited in about 2 to 15 minutes after verification, according to the FAQ. BK8 says it doesn’t charge deposit or withdrawal fees, though your bank or e-wallet may.

For withdrawals, BK8’s FAQ says they’re processed within 25 minutes, after which timing depends on your bank or e-wallet. Check the minimum in the Withdraw screen. Our Touch ‘n Go casino payment guide has the step-by-step version. BK8 may ask for photo ID and a bank statement in your name before your first withdrawal, as explained in how to withdraw from BK8.

Bonuses and lottery bets

BK8’s deposit bonuses don’t really suit 4D players. The Welcome Bonus versions cover sports, esports, live casino and slots (for example, sports is 100% up to MYR 300, min MYR 50, 12x turnover, 30 days), and the 288% offer is slots only. Lottery isn’t a listed product for any of them, and the Instant Rebate table doesn’t include lottery either.

Lottery bets do earn BK8 Rewards Club points, at the same rate as slots and fast games (points per MYR 5,000 in valid bets, with more points at higher VIP tiers). Points expire 90 days after your last eligible bet. Read the current terms on our BK8 promotions page before you deposit for a bonus.

Practical tips before you bet

  • Set a weekly 4D budget before you buy 4D online, and stick to it. BK8’s responsible gaming page doesn’t list a self-service deposit limit, so ask live chat to set one. Our responsible gaming page has more options.
  • Prefer Big for frequent small wins and Small for a bigger top prize. The expected return is about the same.
  • Use iBox instead of Box if you want permutation coverage without multiplying your spend.
  • Ignore “hot number” sites. A number that hit last week has the same 1 in 10,000 chance this week.
  • Check the draw date and game on every bet slip before confirming.
  • Keep your ticket references until the bet is settled.
  • Don’t chase losses by doubling stakes after a miss. 4D has no memory.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy 4D online with BK8?

Yes. BK8's 4D & Lottery lobby runs through the Grand Dragon provider and lists Magnum 4D, Damacai 1+3D, TOTO 4D, Sabah 4D, Sandakan 4D, CashSweep 4D and Singapore 4D. You need a funded BK8 account, then you pick a game, a draw date, your number and a bet type. BK8 is an offshore platform, not a Malaysian-licensed 4D operator.

What are the odds of winning 4D?

There are 10,000 possible numbers from 0000 to 9999, so a single straight number has a 1 in 10,000 chance of being the 1st prize. A Big bet also wins on 2nd, 3rd, Special and Consolation prizes, which gives 23 winning numbers per draw, or roughly 1 in 435.

What is the difference between Big and Small in 4D?

A Big bet pays on all 23 winning numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10 Special and 10 Consolation) but with smaller top prizes. A Small bet pays only on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, with larger payouts for those three. Exact amounts depend on the operator, so check the Payout tab in BK8's 4D lobby.

What is iBox in 4D?

iBox spreads one stake across every arrangement of your four digits. For example, RM24 on iBox 1234 covers all 24 orders at RM1 each. Your stake per arrangement is smaller, so the payout is smaller than a straight bet of the same total amount.

Which days are 4D draws in Malaysia?

Malaysian 4D operators usually draw on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, with occasional special Tuesday draws. Singapore 4D also usually draws on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Always confirm the draw date on the ticket screen before you pay.

Where can I check 4D results?

Use the official operators: magnum4d.my, sportstoto.com.my, damacai.com.my and singaporepools.com.sg. BK8 settles bets against those official results. This site does not publish results.

Is buying 4D on BK8 the same as buying at a Magnum or Toto outlet?

No. Magnum, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai are licensed in Malaysia and sell through their own outlets and channels. BK8 operates under an offshore licence, and its payout table, limits and settlement rules are its own. Check the law that applies to you before you play.

How long does a 4D win take to reach my account on BK8?

BK8 doesn't publish a settlement time for lottery wins. Winnings go to your BK8 balance after the result is confirmed. Withdrawals then follow BK8's normal rules: its FAQ says they're processed within 25 minutes, and BK8 may ask for photo ID and a bank statement first. Check the minimum in the Withdraw screen.

Is there a 4D strategy that improves my chances?

No. Every number has the same 1 in 10,000 chance in every draw. Hot numbers, dream books and car plates do not change the odds. Bet types change how you spread risk, not the expected return.
