Who writes and fact-checks this guide
The BK8 Malaysia Editorial Team writes, edits and fact-checks every page on bk8malaysia.net. That covers the sports and casino hubs, step-by-step guides, provider pages and blog posts. We write for Malaysian adults who want plain facts about BK8 before they sign up or deposit.
Articles carry the team name rather than an individual byline. We’d rather name the publisher honestly than attach articles to a persona nobody can verify. If a named writer is added, their real name, role and relevant experience will appear here.
We are an affiliate guide, not BK8. We earn a commission when readers sign up through our links. The full disclosure is on our about page.
Editorial standards
Facts come from sources, not from memory. Every claim about BK8, such as a minimum deposit, a withdrawal time, a bonus or a licence number, is traced to BK8’s own published information. We record when each source was checked. General knowledge, such as how baccarat or Asian handicap works, comes from stable, widely documented sources.
We show the operator’s claims as claims. When BK8’s FAQ says withdrawals are processed within 25 minutes, we write “BK8’s FAQ says”, not “withdrawals take”.
Bonuses always come with terms. We never print a headline figure like “288%” without the minimum deposit, wagering, maximum and expiry beside it. BK8 now publishes a T&C file for each promotion, and we take the figures from it.
Honest on the law. We never describe BK8 as legal in Malaysia or “fully authorised”. Online casinos aren’t licensed in Malaysia, and BK8 operates under an offshore licence. Each reader must check the law that applies to them.
No hype, no pressure. No “guaranteed wins”, no “risk-free” offers, no countdown timers and no content aimed at anyone under 18. Every hub and guide links to our responsible gaming page.
Commission doesn’t buy coverage. BK8 doesn’t review or approve our pages before publication, and we don’t accept payment to change what we write.
How we handle unconfirmed facts
Some details can’t be confirmed from public sources, such as cashier minimums that only show after login. BK8’s own pages also sometimes contradict each other. For example, its footer names an Anjouan licence while its FAQ still mentions Curaçao, and its affiliate site quotes both 40% and 45% commission. Rather than guess, we follow three rules.
- If BK8 publishes a figure, we quote it and say where it comes from.
- If only a third-party review has a figure, we name the review and say “a review reports”.
- If nobody publishes it, we leave the figure out and tell you where to check, for example the Withdraw screen.
Even confirmed figures can change. Check limits and bonus terms with BK8’s live chat before you rely on them.
Corrections policy
We fix factual errors as soon as we confirm them. When a correction changes the meaning of a page, such as a wrong limit, a changed bonus term or a withdrawn offer, we update the “last updated” date. Small fixes like typos and broken links are made without a note.
To report an error, use our contact page. Tell us the page, the statement and, if possible, a source showing the correct information. We can’t fix account problems, which only BK8 can handle.
